Seriously, some people are so stupid and the saddest thing is that there’s no cure for stupidity. It’s just too bad that you’ve to live and work with stupid people all the time. You can’t tell them, “Sorry, you’re too dumb. Speak to my hand.”
On a funnier side, it’s fun having people jumping around and making irresponsible comments about you. It’s funny. Oh, and these people talk like they know (KNOW!) you. They like to say things like, “Given her character, she would have done this, done that. How come she’s not doing it?”
Am I that predictable?
I hate it when some people are in a situation with me try to be harsh on one end and be nice later. You know? Like when your friend was harsh to you in class in front of everyone and the next second she just SMSed, “Don’t be mad okay?”
Oh please… How many of you actually find that acceptable? I’m just glad that my none of my closed friends are like that.
But I’ve to say, without these people around… Life may not be that entertaining. See, I was so busy with the piles of work I’ve to complete before 2pm today and those dumb people just perform their regular stupidty acts at the right time and kept me entertained for a short while before I went back to work. They’ve their values lah… And that’s to keep me entertained. (Ha! Charlene quoted that!) Other than that, they served no purpose at all.
Anyway, Charlene’s back in town and we did some catching up and she visited Guang Zhe who obviously is very teh (coquettish) to me. Whenever I’m on phone with the beau, he’ll just stare hard and me and protest by screaming his head off. He’s fine if I’m munching, talking to the others at home. When I’m on the line with Chris, he doesn’t give a damn! But only when I’m on the line with the beau, Guang Zhe will make a hell of noise. He’ll start crying if I don’t hang up soon. That annoys the beau a little I guess.
Guang Zhe is heavier and very fun to play with now. I’m not posting his pictures as he has a minor surgery recently and there are some aids on his face, making him look really pitiful.
Damn it, Eva’s hair is so damn long now! I didn’t see her for like, 2 weeks? Why is it like that one? Other people’s hair just grow so fast and your own never seemed to grow. And the worst thing is, I think I’m balding. Okay, not BALDING but more like less hair on the head now. Scary.
I’m thinking to get a new camera but gave up on that thought. My Ixus II serves me well and fine. I guess I’ve developed some feelings for it. I bought it in 2004 and it captured so much wonderful moments. I bought it during the time when the girls (when Sylvia’s group was known as The Bims) and I were clubbing like crazy. My Ixus caught the most glamorous sight of us (pre-clubbing) and the worst of us (post-clubbing) within hours. It also captured many family gatherings like Ah-Gong’s birthday, Ah-Boh’s birthday and my series of Chinese New Year gatherings. It captured Guang Zhe’s growing up process too. It went to Hong Kong and Malaysia with me. I’m sure there’ll be many more countries it’ll be visiting with me. Most importantly, it took beautiful pictures of my beau and I and I’ve developed it and framed it all up. The next task it has would most likely be Sylvia’s wedding.
So dear Ixus, you can have my word that I won’t replace you anytime soon. But! Should you die on me, I won’t send you to the hospital this time and I’ll just let you go peacefully. Get it? So let’s keep our fingers crossed for now.
Damn, I miss my beau.
