Guang Zhe celebrated his birthday today and I would say that he had a good time.

By the way, Guang Zhe has learned new things. He’ll scream and scream the moment he sees me as if telling me that he’s excited to see me, happy to see me. When I leave, he’ll whine first when he’s still in my arms, the moment I passed him back to the family, he starts crying.

Okay, not a good sign I know. But I’m just so damn proud of the bond I managed to create with him.

Fun facts:

• Guang Zhe was out with his Granny the whole afternoon, now you know why he was so sleepy.
• He was indeed really smelly last evening as he had not gotten his shower at that time.
• He was trying to smile on all the pictures but Alex didn’t manage to snap it. Mom has a couple of nicer ones but I’m too lazy to have it uploaded.
• After his shower, we play peek-a-boo for the next half hour.

I’ve been putting on weight and losing weight all the time since 2004. But I’ve never been so thin (like now at 45kg) all my life. I just want to share and compare the pictures I’ve taken over the years. Please, it will take ages to load. Lots of pictures coming up.

2004

This was taken in during the New Year with some unknown kid. I think I was about 56kg at that time.

That’s Michelle and me. Ha! Michelle looks cute hur? I was putting on weight. Perhaps 58kg?

2005

I’ve been swimming a lot during the time when this picture was taken. Thus the tanned look. Take a good look at my body! Fat. I think I was coming 60kg.

Taken with Eva (who looks really funny) and I think I stopped weighing myself from late 2005 to late 2006. I was too ashamed and depressed to do so. I was definitely more than 60kg. Look at the fats under my boobs!

Sylvia always looks good… I cut my hair late 2005 and looked silly and fat.

This was the picture we taken after I’ve extended my eyelashes. That has to be before Chinese New Year.

The Start of my diet… Since Nov 1st 2006

It was so depressing to see that I was 65kg that time and I told myself I’ve to something. I was so ashamed of my weight. I can’t put on my jeans and the biggest blouse I’ve had. I decided to go on diet.

This was taken in 3rd Nov 2006, Claire’s birthday. I was into the 3rd day of my diet.

This was taken in Nov too. My face was getting a little sharper. I think I’ve lost about 3 to 4kg by then.

As above.

This was taken earlier part in December when the company was celebrating the X’mas. Look at the arms and the waist.

I permed my hair again before X’mas and it was obvious that I’ve lost quite an amount of weight by then.

2007

We celebrated Ah-boh’s birthday in January. I was about 52kg that time. I was able to wear sleeveless tops comfortably.

This is one of my favorite pictures and that was also taken somewhere in January at Genting. I’ve gone down quite a bit.

Feb. About 50kg.

Feb. After I’ve cut my hair, I was already under 50kg. Thus, the rest of the pictures below are me from 50 gradually down to 45.

It’s been a busy month in April thus no pictures were taken. This was taken in early May and I even went as low as 43kg at one point.

That’s all folks. It’s been a long way. It really wasn’t easy to lose so much weight within such a short time by just dieting. I’m damn proud of myself as I did it with pure determination. The next thing I need to do would be to maintain 45kg for many years to come and never put on so much weight again.
